This week was my first week with
Jane. She is a wonderful teacher, and knows French like Mr Rochester does, so I
don’t always have to speak this English I do not understand! Jane knows much of
the world. She can draw and paint very well, and plays piano a little better
than the servant girl downstairs, but not nearly as good as Mama! However, she
is a very good teacher, patient and gives time for me to understand, because I
do not always understand. Have never
liked lessons very much, Jane’s are a little more interesting. Honestly, I
would rather play all day than learn about the world (Geography I think they
call it?), but Miss Eyre is a wonderful teacher and I like her very much.
